Dawahon Island

“Sometimes the best adventure comes from the unplanned one” this is what I have experienced when my former college friends invited me to have our mini reunion. I was hesitant at first, because of my prior plans and I might spend the alotted money for that certain travel. When they said the name of the island, I automatically searched it through google and was amazed by it’s beauty. The Island was called Dawahon.

There are two routes to dawahon, either via villaba or via tabango. Since one of our colleague is from Villaba we chose via villaba.

On our way to the Municipality of Villaba, a beautiful weather perfect for an Island hopping indeed.

Island’s view from afar.

A very tempting clear water.

’twas my first time to spend a long in the water under the detrimental heat of the sun. Not thinking of its negative effect, rather enjoying every second spent with this lovely art of God.

Back to the mainland (port of Silay Villaba, Leyte)

This was my first time in Dawahon but surely not my last. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable adventure.

How to get there?

During our travel we used private vehicles so our expenses were much cheaper compared to commuters.
